Here's an electronic replica of a birthday gift that I gave to David for his 18th. Happy Belated Birthday David!
This piece is dedicated to all of my amazing friends from high school who spent each lunch period with me in the centre of the school grounds where we talked and laughed while kicking a hacky sack all over the place. Ahh, school's over and those fun days have gone, but surely we'll all meet again to relive the memories.
I was going to call this deviation "011 Memory" but the name seems to hold a sad, long-gone feeling to the hobby. So I titled it "058 Kick in the Head" for my friend Yan in memory of the day when Anny kicked him in the head (actually it was his chin, but I guess that's part of his head). It was funny and I'm glad that he was okay and wasn't hurt.
A bit of the history of our hacky sack encounters is displayed here: Left - 2004 Hack which belonged to Alan, a year 10 classmate of mine, who brought hacky into our lunchtime activities. Center - 2005 Hack which I bought from Oxfam, that year, the hackers group doubled in players. Right - 2006 Hack which was a birthday present from David.
I'm so lucky to have such great friends and they know I've had troubles in the past, but when we get together, it's all fun and nothing really matters. We even made a band to perform at the end of year assembly, named 'The Hackers'. How original!
Some of The Hackers (band members or not, all hacky sack players) on deviantART... wait, I should say, my best pals: David, Yan, Jee Wee, Jee Meng, Dennis, Chun and Adrian.
I love this image! The patterns are really fun
If you wanted to bring out the colours even more you could darken it a little bit (like with Levels or something)
Very nice monica!
This is actually the first time that I have made a present first, followed by making a replica. Cause I have to admit being quite happy with the look of it. Hope you found somewhere nice to hang it up.

Yeah, gotta love those old days of fun under the sails.
Not just Alex, also Kelvin, Danny, Daniel, Anny, Vincent and Tim!
No worries pal.

Glad that you do.
